RailAdventure is a company based in Neuhausen, Munich. The company began its activities in 2006 with the world record project. A new world speed record of 357 km/h for series-produced locomotives was set after the previous figure had stood for 51 years. This led, for example, to an entry in the Guinness Book of Records.

The change of status to a GmbH (a German limited company) followed in 2010. The company activities are first class organisation and operation of train journeys in the fields of upmarket events and transport, as well as special test and transportation runs for the rail industry. Our permanent staff also includes train drivers who have been specially trained for these purposes. All our staff have foreign language skills. RailAdventure possesses its own rail vehicles and also operates leased vehicles. RailAdventure GmbH is a member of the Verband der Bahnindustrie (VDB – German Railway Industry Association).
